Penguins Reassign Talbot

PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Maxime Talbot to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by General Manager Craig Patrick.

Talbot, 21, has played in 48 games this season for the Penguins, recording eight points (5+3) and 59 penalty minutes.

The 5-11 and 185-pound native of Lemoyne, Quebec has appeared in seven games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, scoring five goals and recording 10 penalty minutes.

Talbot was drafted by the Penguins in the eighth round (234th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
