AHL, B2 Offer Free All-Star Classic Webcast

WINNIPEG, Man. ... The American Hockey League and B2 Networks announced today that the 2006 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic will be broadcast live and at no charge from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on B2 Networks.
B2 will show the 2006 CCM AHL All-Star Skills Competition this Tuesday, January 31, and the 2006 AHL All-Star Game this Wednesday, February 1. Coverage both nights begins at 8:00 p.m. (ET).
Fans around the world wanting to watch the game will be able to access the broadcast through the official Web site of the American Hockey League, theahl.com. A high-speed internet connection and a current version of Windows Media Player are required to view the event.

Of the 364 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since 1995, more than 93 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Pavol Demitra, Rick DiPietro, Patrik Elias, Miikka Kiprusoff, Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal and Steve Sullivan.
