Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
Last Weeks Highlights:
12/3/04 > Long Beach 2 vs. Bakersfield 3 (SO)
The Ice Dogs appeared to be on their way to snapping their season high four-game winless streak against the Condors Friday night. Two goals 30 seconds apart by Evan Cheverie and Joe Cardarelli gave the Ice Dogs a 2-0 lead, but Bakersfield fought back and tied the score with 13 seconds remaining in the game. The score remained tied through the five minute overtime, but the Condors won it after seven rounds of shootout hockey.
12/4/04 > Long Beach 0 vs. Fresno 5
The Ice Dogs suffered their worst loss of the season Saturday night, this time at the hands of the Fresno Falcons. It was the first time in seven games the Falcons have won in Long Beach. Shaun Sutter had a hat trick for Fresno who rolled over the Ice Dogs, despite a 39-24 shot differential in favor of Long Beach. Olivier Michaud made his sixth straight start in place of the injured Chris Madden.
This Weeks' Games:
