Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 1-1-1 record this past week. Las Vegas started the week with a 5-4 loss in Florida. Friday night in Alaska, the Wranglers doubled up the Aces 4-2. Alaska countered with a 4-3 shootout win on Saturday night.

This week, Las Vegas will conclude a string of ten straight games on the road. The Wranglers head to Boise, ID for games this weekend on December 10th and 11th at 6:05 pm (PST). Las Vegas will host their next home game on Tuesday, December 14th at 7:05 pm against the Greenville Grrrowl.

Las Vegas 4 at Florida 5

The Las Vegas Wranglers fell to the Florida Everblades 5-4 at Germain Arena on Tuesday night. Florida's Damian Surma scored the game-winning goal with 1:08 remaining in the game. Florida forward Brad Church scored twice while adding an assist. The Wranglers played in their tenth consecutive one-goal game, falling to 4-2-0 on their current road trip. Forwards Jeff Attard, Jason Spence, Doug Wright and Dan Tudin each scored for Las Vegas. Goalie Marc Magliarditi took the loss with 28 saves on 33 shots. Florida's Craig Kowalski beat the Wranglers for the second straight game with 29 saves.

Las Vegas 4 at Alaska 2

Anchorage, AK - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Alaska Aces 4-2 at Sullivan Arena on Friday night. Rookie Dustin Johner scored twice to lead the Wranglers to a 5-2-0 record on their current ten-game road trip. Winger Dan Tudin and defenseman Ryan Gaucher each had two assists in the Las Vegas win. Goalie Marc Magliarditi made 32 saves for his fifth win of the season. The two-goal win ended a streak of ten straight games in which Las Vegas played in games decided by one goal.

Las Vegas 3 at Alaska 4 SO

Anchorage, AK - The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Alaska Aces 4-3 in a shootout at Sullivan Arena on Saturday night. Alaska forward Mike Scott scored the only goal in the shootout for the Alaska win. Aces goalie Lance Mayes stopped all five Las Vegas shooters in the shootout. Las Vegas goalie Sebastien Centomo made 37 saves in the loss. Center Chris Stanley scored twice and Doug Wright added the other Wranglers goal as Las Vegas fell to 5-2-1 on the first eight games of the ten-game road trip. The Aces tied Idaho for second place in the West division with the shootout win. Las Vegas is 1-1-1 against Alaska this season.

This Week's Opponents-

Idaho Steelheads – (11-7-1) – Season Series Tied 1-1-0

The Wranglers and Steelheads split a two-game series at the Orleans Arena the weekend of November 19th and 20th. Idaho won the first game 2-1 and Las Vegas countered with a 2-1 win the following night. Idaho is led by goalie Frank Doyle and his 10-3-1 record. Doyle carries a 1.83 goals against average and .933 save percentage. Doyle is among the league leaders for goals against average (6th), wins (2nd) and 859 minutes played (2nd). Right wing Dave Morrisset leads the Steelheads in scoring with six goals and ten assists in 19 games. Wranglers' right wing Billy Tibbetts is expected to return to the line-up after serving a 10-game ECHL suspension. Las Vegas is 6-3-2 on the road while Idaho is 6-3-1 at home. Of the Wranglers 19 games played, 15 have ended with a one-goal difference.

Road Warriors and Beyond

The Wranglers will wrap-up a string of ten straight games on the road with their series at Idaho this weekend. When the string ends, Las Vegas will have spent 18 days, over 80 hours and some 14,200 miles traveling. The Wranglers made stops in Lafayette, LA, Beaumont, TX, Biloxi, MS, Pensacola, FL, Estero, FL and Anchorage, AK. Over the span, the Wranglers have posted a 5-2-1 record including two overtime wins and a shootout win. When Las Vegas hosts their next home game on December 14th, the team will have gone 23 days between home games.
