The Johnstown Chiefs (7-5-7; 21 PTS; T-4th North div.) dropped into a tie with Toledo for fourth place in the North division after going 0-2-1 last week. The Chiefs fell on the road at Dayton on Friday, lost at home Saturday night against Atlantic City and lost in a shootout Sunday afternoon at Trenton. The Chiefs will play their next three games on the road. Friday night they are at Reading, before wrapping up the week Saturday night in Atlantic City. The Chiefs trail third place Wheeling by one point, second place Trenton by two points, and first place Atlantic City by seven points.

GAME #17 (12/3/04) DAYTON 4 - Johnstown 1 Currie 30 Saves

The Johnstown Chiefs continued to struggle on the road this season as the Dayton Bombers defeated them 4-1 Friday night at the Nutter Center. The Chiefs are winless on the road in 2004 with a 0-4-2 record. Shawn Mather scored the only Johnstown goal in the third period. Scott Cameron, Clay Plume, Tyler Kolarik and Janne Jokila all scored for the Bombers.

GAME #18 (12/4/04) Atlantic City 6 - JOHNSTOWN 1 Kelly Goal

Former Johnstown Chief Jason Notermann scored two goals for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies as they defeated the Chiefs 6-1 Saturday night at the War Memorial. Brent Kelly scored the only Johnstown goal. Luke Curtin, Derek Edwardson, Fraser Clair and Vince Macri also scored for Atlantic City. Chiefs goaltender David Currie started the game allowing three goals on 12 shots. David Cann played the final two periods allowing 3 goals while stopping 17 shots. Atlantic City goaltender Jake Moreland made 30 saves in the contest.

GAME #19 (12/5/04) TRENTON 4 - Johnstown 3 (SO) Desrochers Two Assists

For the fourth time this season the Chiefs and the Trenton Titans could not determine a winner in regulation time. But once again the Titans pulled away with a 4-3 shootout win Sunday afternoon at the Sovereign Bank Arena. Jeremy Van Hoof, Joe Tallari and Grant Stevenson all scored for the Chiefs. Goaltender David Cann made 31 saves in the contest. Phil Lewandowski, Mathieu Brunelle and Rick Kowalsky were the Titans goal scorers. Chris Houle made 34 saves for the Titans.

Friday night the Chiefs take to the road when they travel to Reading to face the Royals (10-6-0, 20 PTS; 5th North div.). The Chiefs are 1-0-0 against Reading this season and 15-8-1 all-time. This is the first game of the season series in Reading. The Royals are red hot, going 9-1-0 in their last ten games.

Saturday night the Chiefs will travel to the New Jersey shore for the first time this season when they take on the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (13-5-2, 28 PTS; 1st North div.). The Chiefs are 0-1-0 against Atlantic City this season and 8-9-2 all-time. Atlantic City currently sits in first place in the North division and are 8-1-1 in their last ten games. Atlantic City is 7-1-1 at Boardwalk Hall this season.

- P.L. Courchesne is 4th among ECHL defensemen with 57 shots.
