December 6, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-1-0 OVERALL RECORD: 7-9-1, 15 pts.
December 2 @ Bakersfield, 4-2 Loss - Dressing only 13 skaters due to injuries and three players serving one-game league suspensions, the Falcons remained winless on the road. Jason Weaver scored and rookie Dustin VanBallegooie picked up his first professional goal in the losing effort.
December 4 @ Long Beach, 5-0 Win - Goaltender Brett Jaeger made 39 saves and Shaun Sutter notched the Falcons' first hat trick of the season, as the club finally broke through on the road in their fifth try with their second shutout of the season. The bulk of Jaeger's work came in the first period, when he kept the game scoreless despite Fresno getting out-shot, 21-4. Captain Dan Tessier then lit the lamp on the power play, and Sutter scored twice to break the game open, 3-0, after two. The Falcons added two more in the third for the final margin.
