Howe Released From Contract

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, announced that they have released right wing Mike Howe from his standard player contract.
Howe, 25, spent his rookie season with Ontario (2008-09), recording 15 points (5g, 10a) and 18 penalty minutes in 49 games with the Reign. The Oakdale, Minnesota native spent four seasons with the University of Minnesota (NCAA), where he registered 65 points (31g, 34a) and 82 penalty minutes in 156 games with the Golden Gophers from 2004 - 2008.
