
Royals Sign Goaltender Kain Tisi

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has signed goaltender Kain Tisi ["TEE see"] to an Amateur Tryout Agreement. Tisi (5'11/180) (25), who hails from Mississauga, Ontario, recently completed his senior season at St. Lawrence University where he went 10-10-3 with a 2.44 goals against average and .914 save percentage. Over the course of the season, Tisi earned the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Goaltender of the Week Award three times including twice consecutively in late January of 2010.
The Royals continue their efforts to earn a playoff spot in the American Conference tonight (Friday, April 2, 2010 @ 7:35 pm) when the team closes out the season-long six game road trip at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia against the Wheeling Nailers. The Royals game night broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will begin at 7:05 pm.
