Hershey Assigns Yeo to Stingrays

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that defenseman Dylan Yeo has been assigned to the team by the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Yeo, 24, appeared in seven games with the Stingrays this season scoring one goal and two assists for three points. During the 2009-10 campaign, the Prince Albert, SK native registered 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points in 49 games for the Stingrays and skated in five playoff contests tallying two points (1g, 1a). The 2009 ECHL Defenseman of the Year was recalled to the Bears on December 11 and has dressed in nine games with the club this season earning two assists.

The Stingrays welcome the Trenton Devils to the North Charleston Coliseum for a three-game in three-night series starting tonight, Friday, January 7 at 7:05 p.m. Join the Stingrays for FIRST Robotics Night featuring the first ceremonial puck drop by a robot in ECHL history! Robotics teams from around the state will be giving live demonstrations on the main concourse during the first and second intermissions.

On Saturday, January 8, the Stingrays host Dogs on the Pond presented by Camp Bow Wow against the Devils at 7:05 p.m. Bring your dog to the game! The series concludes with Kid's Day on Sunday, January 9 at 4:00 p.m. Kid's tickets are only $5! Arrive early for a pre-game kid's carnival and stay after the game for a post-game autograph session with the entire Stingrays team! Sunday is also Charleston and Summerville Miracle League Night!
