Condors Vs. Steelheads Tonight

Bakersfield Condors News Release
The Condors look to continue their hot streak as they have won 9 out of their last 10 games, including a two game sweep over the Steelheads on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in Idaho. It was the first time the Condors had swept the Steelheads on the road since the 1998-99 season. Bakersfield has not played at home since winning back-to-back games
against Stockton on Dec. 26 and 27, making tonight their first home game of the New Year. Including their WCHL days, the Condors have faced the Steelheads 103 times, going 40-53-10 in those contests.
Condors misc:
The Condors have won nine out of their last ten games dating back to a 5-3 win over the Stockton Thunder on Dec. 10... Since the Condors began their hot streak on Dec. 10, they have gained 18 points and moved from a third place tie in the Pacific Division to just two points behind first place Las Vegas... G Josh Tordjman has allowed one or fewer goals in 5 of his last 7 starts... The Condors have played in two games past regulation during their hot streak, winning one in overtime and one in a shootout... Bakersfield will play with their full allotment of 16 skaters tonight for the first time since Dec. 18 in Ontario.
Transactions:
G Brian Stewart, who is under contract to the Philadelphia Flyers, was assigned to the Condors from Adirondack (AHL) today... F Jean-Marc Beaudoin was transferred from the 3-day IR to the 7-day IR... G Peter Hirsch was placed on the 3-day IR today... C Pete Zingoni was added to the Condors roster yesterday after being reassigned from Houston (AHL) on Tuesday... F Jean-Marc Beaudoin was placed on the 3-day IR on Wednesday... RW Pascal Morency was assigned to the Condors from Houston (AHL) on Tuesday... C Rylan Kaip was transferred to the 21-day IR retroactive to Dec. 23...D Joey Ryan remains on the 21-day IR. He is eligible to be activated on Jan. 10.
