DULUTH, GA - Tim Miller racked up two goals and one assist to help the Gwinnett Gladiators (16-17-5) to a 4-3 win Friday night at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

Miller now has 16 goals this year and 12 in his last 16 games. He wasted no time opening the scoring with a shot from the near corner along the goal-line that beat goaltender Nic Riopel on the near post to make it 1-0 at the 2:46 mark in the first period.

With just five minutes left in the period Michael Forney converted on a two-on-one with Aaron Bendickson to give the Glads at 2-0 lead. Forney also ended the night with two goals and one assist and leads the Glads against the Road Warriors with 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists) in ten games.

Connor Shields cut the deficit in half for the Road Warriors (23-9-2) at the 3:53 mark in the second period to make it 2-1.

Miller got his second tally of the night with a backhand shot that went over Riopel's shoulder to end the period 3-1. The pass came off the stick of Pat Galivan, who finished the night with three assists.

The Road Warriors added a goal just 2:14 into the third period on the power play from Chris Chappell. Only 1:31 later Greenville tied the score at three with a tally from Shields, his second of the night.

Forney wasn't finished, however, and at the 13:52 mark of the third he potted the eventual game-winner off a fantastic setup by Miller and Galivan to seal a 4-3 win. Gwinnett has now topped Greenville two nights in a row after dropping their previous four to the Road Warriors.

The Glads are 12-0-0-0 this season when leading after two periods of play and out-shot the Road Warriors 28-25.

Gwinnett skates at home tomorrow in a rematch against the Road Warriors at 7:05 pm. After the game join Head Coach Jeff Pyle, broadcaster Dustin Bixby, and a couple players at Dave and Busters in Discover Mills for the Miller Lite After-Party!
