Thunder Acquires Future Considerations From the Wheeling Nailers in Exchange For D Trevor Hunt

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, announced the team has acquired future considerations from the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for rookie defenseman Trevor Hunt.

Hunt, 24, has collected one assist and 16 penalty minutes in ten games this season and was originally signed by the Thunder as a free agent to an amateur tryout agreement on Mar. 17, 2010.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound blueliner had two assists and 15 penalty minutes in eight games last season with Stockton.

He previously skated in 100 career games in college through four seasons (2006-10) at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (NCAA), scoring 22 points (5g-17a) and posting 114 penalty minutes.

The Thunder roster currently stands at three goaltenders and 20 skaters (13 forwards, 7 defensemen).
