Walleye Add Peralta and DiDomenico

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Sal Peralta has agreed to terms with the club. In a separate move, the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League have assigned forward Christopher DiDomenico (DEE-doe-men-ihk-oh) to the Walleye.

Peralta started the year with the Walleye, appearing in fifteen contests. Sal scored one goal with two assists. Last year, Peralta collected 19 points (10g, 9a) in seventeen games with Toledo.

DiDomenico will be making his Walleye debut after appearing in 19 games this year with Rockford. Christopher was a member of the 2009 Gold Medal Winning Team Canada at the World Juniors. While playing in QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior), he set a rookie record for points in 2006-07 with 75 (25g, 50a). DiDomenico has one assist this year with the IceHogs.

The Toledo Walleye will be back at home Friday, January 7th at 7:00 PM vs. the Reading Royals at the Huntington Center. Tickets are on sale for that contest and all remaining home games. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
