Grrrowl Rally in Third to Defeat Pride

FLORENCE, SC -- The Greenville Grrrowl scored four goals in the third period to come back and defeat the Pee Dee Pride 6-3 on Saturday night in front of 3,942 fans at the Florence Civic Center.
Trailing 2-1 entering the second period, the Pride would take the lead on a power-play goal by Darryl Green at 4:18 and an even-strength tally by Jeff Szwez.
But, Greenville's offense woke up in the final period, getting goals by Colin Pepperall, Simon Ferguson, Brock Radunske and Krys Barch to set the final.
Pee Dee's five-game home stand wraps up with a pair of games next weekend. Friday, the Pride host the Louisiana IceGators at 7:30, and on Saturday, the Johnstown Chiefs come to town, also at 7:30. The first 2,500 fans in attendance on Saturday receive free Thundersticks, courtesy of First Reliance Bank. Following Saturday's game, the Pride head out on an eight-game road trip, and will not return home until Friday, February 11, when they host the Greenville Grrrowl at 7:30.
