Growlers Sweep Railers with 6-4 Win

The Newfoundland Growlers secured a series sweep over the Worcester Railers with a thrilling 6-4 win on Saturday night at Mary Brown's Centre.
After a back-and-forth affair, Keenan Suthers found the decisive strike four minutes before the end of regulation as he elected to keep and shoot on a 2-on-1 and sniped one top corner for the 5-4 lead. Todd Skirving sealed it with an empty netter for his 50th professional goal and securing a 6-4 Newfoundland win.
Newfoundland visit Worcester next Friday night at 8:30 pm following the All-Star break.
