West Valley City, Utah - The Ontario Reign defeated the Utah Grizzlies (11-6-2-1) 4-3 in regulation Friday night at Maverik Center.

"We have three new bodies in the lineup, it's not the same team we had last week," said Grizzlies Head Coach Kevin Colley. "It's an adjustment period right now, we need 18 guys pulling the rope to get the two points. The guys we have in right now need to seize the opportunity."

After J.P. Lamoureux stood tall in the first period making 13 saves, Utah started the second period on the power-play and built a 1-0 lead 1:28 into the frame as Simon Ferguson knocked in a tic-tac-toe setup from Nick Tuzzolino and Tim Crowder.

Ontario though came back to take a 2-1 lead with two goals in 1:48 at 6:32 and 8:20 and then added a shorthanded goal to make it 3-1 at the second intermission.

Utah battled back twice in the third period with goals from Tyler Ruegsegger and Tim Crowder to make it 3-2 and 4-2, but in between, the Reign added another goal and drew a late penalty to bar Utah from completing the comeback.

J.P. Lamoureux stopped 26 of 30 shots as Utah battled turnovers in his seventh-straight start.

Utah completes their home weekend Saturday with Ontario at Maverik Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Fans can continue to take advantage of 50-cent Hot Dogs and Corn Dogs, $1 Tacos and $2 Beers along with many other meal deals on the Maverik Center concourse.
