Yeo Returns to Stingrays Lineup

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that defenseman Dylan Yeo has been assigned to the team by the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Yeo, 24, appeared in seven games with the Bears netting two assists and four penalty minutes. Earlier this season, the Prince Albert, SK native dressed in two games with the Stingrays scoring no points and four PIM. During the 2009-10 campaign, Yeo scored 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points in 49 games for the Stingrays and skated in five playoff contests tallying two points (1g, 1a). In 2008-09, Yeo punched in 10 goals and 33 assists for 43 points with the Victoria Salmon Kings earning him the 2009 ECHL Defenseman of the Year award.

The Stingrays travel to The Arena at Gwinnett Center to battle the Gwinnett Gladiators today, Friday, December 3 at 7:35 p.m. Tune in to Fox Sports 1450 for all the action. Celebrate the Stingrays' 12th Annual Teddy Bear Toss with Debi's Kids on Saturday, December 4 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum against the Greenville Road Warriors. Bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to throw on the ice after the Stingrays score their first goal! The Center for Birds of Prey will be giving a live demonstration during the second intermission!
