
Grizzlies fall 4-3 to Las Vegas in shootout

West Valley City, Utah - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Utah Grizzlies (11-10-0-3) 4-3 in a shootout Friday night at the E-Center.
The Grizzlies battled back from three separate one-goal deficits forcing overtime.
Trevor Smith (10) and Justin Bourne (5) scored second period goals for Utah to make the game 2-2 after two periods.
The Grizzlies outshot Las Vegas 34-16 in the first two periods.
44 seconds after Las Vegas took a 3-2 lead at 14:12 of the third, the Grizzlies tied the game again with Andy Sertich scoring a power-play goal at 14:56.
Las Vegas scored two shootout goals on four shots as the Grizzlies were denied on four to end the game.
Justin Bourne had one goal and two assists for his second three-point game in four contests.
Nathan Lawson (6-2-0-1) stopped 31 of 34 shots in the game.
The two teams meet again tomorrow at the E-Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
