
Blades activate Bittner from IR

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush, along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward J.B. Bittner has been activated from the injured reserve list and will be in uniform for the Everblades tonight vs. Texas.
Bittner has been out of the lineup since suffering a concussion on November 10 vs. Columbia. The 25-year-old has two assists in nine games with the Everblades this season. Bittner is in his first year with the Everblades after splitting last season among four teams in the ECHL and American Hockey League. Overall the Pittsburgh, PA native had 50 points (21g, 29a) in 67 games between Augusta and Idaho of the ECHL, and Portland and Iowa of the AHL in 2006-07.
Now in his fourth professional season the Ohio State alumnus has 102 points (38g, 64a) in 156 career games.
