Victoria, British Columbia: Justin Eddy stopped all 24 shots he faced and the Grizzlies scored three goals to shut out the Victoria Salmon Kings 3-0. Despite nearly even shots on goal in the first period, neither team was able to generate any offence, and the Grizzlies and Salmon Kings found themselves scoreless at the end of twenty minutes.

Utah's Louis Dumont broke open the tie at 3:33 of the second frame, with assists going to Ryan Kinasewich and Garett Cameron. That same line combined for the Grizzlies' second goal of the game, coming at 17:57, but this time it was Kinasewich with the goal, and Dumont and Cameron assisting. The Salmon Kings had 11 shots on net, but were unable to solve Eddy, and the Grizzlies took a 2-0 lead into the second intermission.

Cameron found the back of the net at the 12:28 mark of the third period when he picked up a loose puck on a broken play. Dumont added another assist, and Colt King also assisted on the final Grizzlies goal. Dumont (1 goal, 2 assists), Cameron (1 goal, 2 assists), and Kinasewich (1 goal, 1 assist) all had multi-point nights for Utah. Justin Eddy earned his second professional shutout and first of this season with the win.

Following a 6-3 victory over the Fresno Falcons, the Alaska Aces have clinched the West Division Championship, and will meet the Utah Grizzlies for a first round, best-of-seven series in Anchorage, starting on Monday, April 10. The Grizzlies (36-29-6) have one regular season game remaining; Saturday, April 8, versus the Victoria Salmon Kings. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
