
Inaugural Fan Fest Held at Stockton Arena

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Lightning have announced they will hold their inaugural 2006 "Fan Fest" event at Stockton Arena, taking place at Stockton Arena on Saturday, April 15, lasting 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT.
The event, which christens the first Lightning team and fan-interaction with Stockton Arena, is open free-of-charge to all fans. The event will feature autograph signings, fan-interactive games, on-field demonstrations, Lightning locker room tours, a Lightning dance-team clinic (open to all youth participants) and opportunities to purchase season tickets.
Individual tickets will be released to the public as well, available for purchase inside Stockton Arena at approximately noon PT.
Listed below is a tentative scheduled itinerary of Saturday's events (subject to change, all times Pacific):
* 10 a.m.: Stockton Arena doors open (season ticket holders) * 10 a.m. - Noon: Lightning players and Lightning dance team members will sign autographs (North Entry conference room - season ticket holders only) * Noon: Stockton Arena doors open (general public) * Noon: Individual tickets on-sale (available on Arena "Fan Deck," located on the West concourse of Stockton Arena) * 12:30 p.m.: On-field activities commence: o Lightning dance team performing on-field, individually introduced o Fan-interactive activities o Lightning players introduced on-field (house lights down with spotlights) o Players on-field for arena football game simulation o Players and Lightning dance team will sign autographs on-field o Lightning dance team performing on-field o Fan on-field football and Lightning dance team clinic stations open, locker room tours available o Lightning dance team clinic participants - choreography recital o "Meet the Lightning dance team" (Stockton Arena North Entry)
The Lightning return to play with a week 2 road game against the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz, with the game slated at 5:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. The game can be heard live on the internet through www.stocktonlightning.com, courtesy of SportsJuice.com.
Season tickets for the upcoming Lightning season are on sale now. Tickets for the Lightning April 29 home opener against the Bakersfield Blitz can currently be purchased as part of a full season package.
