Grizzlies Battle Wolves Tonight at the 'E' Center

February 20, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies will take on their division rival Chicago Wolves tonight, the last time the Wolves will visit the 'E' Center this season. The Grizzlies will try to avoid an eleventh straight loss to Chicago dating back to last season. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 pm (mst) and a near sell-out crowd is expected so all fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The Grizzlies (17-30-4-3) have had some recent success going 2-2 in their last four home games. However, Utah hasn't had any luck at all against Chicago this season, dropping six straight while being outscored 23-5. Mathias Tjarnqvist has scored two of the Grizzlies five goals against Chicago.

Chicago (27-18-7-3) has had some struggles of their own recently, finally getting a victory at Milwaukee on Wednesday after losing three straight on the road. The Wolves have failed to win five of their last seven.

Utah will host another division opponent on Sunday afternoon when Houston visits the 'E' Center.
