GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors open their second straight three-in-three weekend by paying the South Carolina Stingrays a visit tonight. It is the fourth of seven scheduled games between the teams this month.

The Road Warriors (38-21-5, 81 pts.) visit South Carolina (34-24-6, 74 pts.) today for the 13th of 16 meetings between the clubs this season. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. Greenville has gone 4-0-1 in its last five road games, with two of those wins coming in North Charleston, and now stands as the second-best road team in the league with 18 wins. Only Reading with 19 has more wins away from home than Greenville. The Road Warriors have created a bit of a home away from home at the North Charleston Coliseum. Since losing four straight at the Coliseum from December 31, 2010 to February 20, 2011 Greenville has gone 6-2-0 in its last eight games there. That includes a three-game win streak that started with a 4-1 win on February 7.

Greenville's 722 shots in the first period are the most in the ECHL while their 67 goals are second most. Justin Bowers leads current Road Warriors with 179 shots. Greenville is averaging 3.03 goals per road game this season. The 100 goals scored away from home are the sixth most in the league. Road Warriors have also given up 100 goals on the road.The Road Warriors' magic number to clinch a Kelly Cup Playoffs berth is 6. Any combination of the 9th place team losing standings points and the Road Warriors gaining points will shrink the number.Brent Cornelius is playing his first game since March 6 tonight. He has 1G, 2A and a +1 rating in 25 games with Greenville.
