March 16, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Elmira Jackals News Release

The Elmira Jackals announced on Friday that forward Louie Caporusso has been recalled from the club by its AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Caporusso, a rookie, has 32 points (16g-16a) and is +5 in 29 contests with Elmira this season. The 22-year-old returned to the Jackals' lineup last weekend after missing six weeks with an injury by scoring three goals in two games. Tonight will mark Caporusso's first appearance with the B-Sens since Nov. 26. With Binghamton in 2011-2012, Caporusso has not registered a point in seven games. A native of Woodbridge, Ontario, Caporusso was selected in the third round (90th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators.

Elmira hosts Florida this Friday and Saturday and Wheeling this Sunday at First Arena, with Jackals trading cards being distributed to fans throughout the weekend. To reserve your seats call (607) 734-PUCK (7825), visit the First Arena Box Office, or log onto JackalsHockey.com.
