(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defensemen Cameron Cooper. Cooper is expected to join Toledo in Chicago and play tonight.

Cooper joins Toledo after completing his senior season at Minnesota State, where he was an Assistant Captain. The native of Lakeville, MN appeared in 111 total games for the Mavericks with six goals, nine assists, and 93 penalty minutes. Cooper was a four-year letter winner at Minnesota State and WCHA All-Academic Team member for the past three seasons. The 23-year-old skated for the Tri-City Storm of the USHL prior to his time in college, appearing in 123 games over three seasons (8g, 25a).
