Countdown to Face-Off

For the final time in the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Trenton Titans. Kalamazoo is 3-1-0-0 versus the Titans this season; however they are 1-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium. This evening will also be the final contest out of division in the regular season for the K-Wings.

One of the most prolific scoring teams in the ECHL, the K-Wings have struggled to find their offense scoring just one goal in their last six periods of hockey. With 73 points, Kalamazoo remains atop of the North Division, six points ahead of the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Winless in their last eight games (0-8-0-0), the Titans enters Wings Stadium looking to snap the longest losing streak in the ECHL this season. With 46 points, Trenton is in fourth place in the Atlantic Division and has been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Roster Moves Earlier today, the K-Wings have activated defenseman Joe Tolles from the 7-Day Injured Reserve. In a separate transaction, Kalamazoo has place defenseman Joe Charlebois on the 7-Day IR.

Ending a Drought

Nick Sirota's goal with 17.8 seconds remaining in Wednesday's game ended a scoring drought for the K-Wings. The goal was Kalamazoo's first in a span of 126:58.

A New Face Behind the Bench

Fans of the K-Wings will notice a new face behind the bench. Season ticket holder Jessica Demercy has been selected to be an assistant coach for tonight's game.

Remember the Titans

Tonight's encounter against the Titans will be the final regular season encounter for the K-Wings against any team outside of the North Division. On the season, Kalamazoo is 7-5-0-1 versus teams from the Atlantic Division and 14-10-0-4 outside of the North Division.
