March 16, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Chicago Express News Release

When: Puck drops at 7:30 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm
Where: Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192
Tonight's Matchup:
The Express have won each of their last two games, and look to put together a three game winning streak tonight against the Toledo Walleye. It is a tall task for Chicago, who is 4-5-1-1 against the Walleye this season. The story for Chicago over the last two games has been the goaltending of rookie Rob Madore, who has stopped 60 of 61 shots during that span. The Walleye have been on a bit of a cold streak of late, as up until Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Kalamazoo Wings, they were winless in four straight games. With a victory by the Express tonight, they will have an eight point lead over the Walleye, and combined with a regulation loss by the Cyclones would boost the Express back into the final playoff spot.
Express Notes:
G Rob Madore set a new Express record for saves in a period when he stopped all 19 shots he faced in the first period on Wednesday... LW Maxime Gratchev earned his 100th North American point on Wednesday with two assists in the game... All three Chicago goals on Wednesday were scored on the power play, marking the first time the Express have scored more than two man-advantage goals in a single game.
Recent Transactions:
F Kyle Ostrow was placed on the 3-day IR on Wednesday... D Brett Motherwell was transferred to the 7-day IR on Wednesday... RW Tyler Donati was transferred to the 21-day IR on Wednesday... LW Devin DiDiomete was released on Monday... G Brody Cavanaugh released as an Emergency Backup Goaltender on Saturday.
