VS RED DEER: This will be the second of eight meetings between these two Central Division rivals. Medicine Hat took the first game by a score of 4-2. Lukas Svejkovsky recorded his first career hat-trick in the victory. The Rebels are 2-3-0-0 in their last five games, most recently coming off a 4-3 overtime win in Calgary against the Hitmen. Arshdeep Bains leads the Rebels offensively with 29 points through 26 games, while Ben King leads the team in goals with 16.

Connor Bedard had a pair of goals and an assist for the Pats. Garin Bjorklund stopped 35 of 38 shots sent his direction but was tabbed for the loss.
MILESTONES: Lukas Svejkovsky recently played his 150th career WHL game. The Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick now has 113 points (50G, 63A) after scoring his 50th career goal. Corson Hopwo is closing in on his 100th career WHL point. The forward from Duncan, BC needs only 6 points to cross that threshold. Tigers Defenceman Dru Krebs played in his 100th career WHL game on Saturday vs Brandon.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Daniel Baker was recently named the 38th captain in Tigers franchise history. The 6'4 defenceman can be counted upon night in and night out, whether it's blocking shots, making plays with his incredible reach or being a quarterback on the powerplay. The Edmonton, Alberta product is in his fifth season with the Orange and Black and has appeared in 188 games. Baker has 19 goals to his credit to go along with 60 assists, 145 penalty minutes, and is a +21 in goal differential in his career.
