HEAD TO HEAD - This is the fourth of nine meetings between the Thunder and the Rush. All-time, Wichita is 16-29-5 against Rapid City and 6-14-3 on the road.

TODAY - Wichita looks to get back on the winning track tonight as the Rapid City Rush come to town for the second time this season. The Thunder lost last night to the Mallards by the final of 3-1 while Rapid City beat Missouri at the IEC 5-2. Jesse Schultz leads the Rush attack with 18 points (6g, 12a) so far this season followed by Dylan Clarke, who has 17. Danick Gauthier leads the charge for the Thunder, recording 23 points (12g, 11a) so far this season. Ian Lowe is right behind him with 20 points and had an assist in last night's game.

STIFLED - In the two games the Thunder have played against the Mallards, the Thunder have scored just three goals on 67 shots on net. Milner allowed one goal last night, making 31 saves while Mosher stopped 33 of 35 shots. Over the last five games, Wichita has managed to score just 10 goals despite outshooting the opponent 185-151, which has led to the Thunder's three-game losing skid. The Thunder have also given up the first goal in the last seven games.

SPECIAL TEAMS - After going without a power play goal in Brampton, the Thunder power play has clicked in the last three games. Wichita has scored a goal in three-straight on the man advantage, going 4-for-15 over that stretch and good for a 26.7% clip. The penalty kill had surrendered a power play goal in each of the last two games, but stopped that trend last night, killing off all five power play goals for the Mallards.

OH CAPTAIN - Thunder captain Theo Peckham recorded his second goal of the season last night after receiving a beautiful feed from Ian Lowe. Peckham missed Wednesday's game with the flu, which is the first time he has been a scratch this season.
