
Americans vs Brampton Game Preview

Allen, TEXAS -The Allen Americans and Brampton Beast square off tonight in Allen. It's the third meeting of the season between the two clubs, with the Americans taking both games in November at Allen Event Center. Puck drop is at 7:05 pm .
The Americans are coming off a 5-2 win over Quad City on Wednesday night at Allen Event Center. Jack Combs scored a team record four goals in the Americans win. Combs leads the ECHL in scoring with 37 points. Chad Costello is second in the league in scoring with 31 points, and is the current Sher-Wood ECHL Player of the Week. Costello has assists in four straight games. Gary Steffes and Chad Costello are tied for the team lead in plus-minus at +17.
"We are really playing well right now," said Chad Costello on the Allen Americans Radio Show this week at Kelly's. "The guys really get along well and play hard for each other on the ice. Our line with Ian Schultz, Jack Combs and I have found really good chemistry and it's resulted in points on the ice."
Aaron Dell has been reassigned to Allen from the Americans AAA affiliate Worcester. Dell played in five games on his American Hockey League assignment and had 1.72 goals against average and a .917 save percentage. Greger Hanson is on loan to Oklahoma City of the AHL.
Brampton comes into tonight's contest having lost two straight, including a 4-1 loss on Friday night to the Tulsa Oilers. The Beast are led by Chad Painchaud's 16 points in 18 games. Brampton is 7-10-1-0 overall and 3-5-1-0 on the road.
