KALAMAZOO, MI- Forward Dane Fox and defenseman Evan McEneny have been re-assigned by the Vancouver Canucks to the Utica Comets from the Kalamazoo Wings, the team announced Friday.

Fox, 22, has appeared in five games for Kalamazoo and has registered an assist and eight penalty minutes. His 30 goals in 70 games last season were second most on Kalamazoo. The second year pro, a native of Chatham, Ontario, was the Ontario Hockey League's leading goal scorer in the 2013-14 season with the Erie Otters and was named the OHL's overage player of the year.

McEneny, 21, played in one game with Utica this season before being re-assigned to Kalamazoo. The defenseman suited up in one contest for Kalamazoo during his re-assignment before being recalled by Utica on Friday. The rookie had an assist and three shots on goal in Kalamazoo's 4-3 victory over Indy on Tuesday, October 27 at Wings Event Center. The native of Hamilton, Ontario logged 240 games in the Ontario Hockey League with Kitchener and Kingston before turning pro this season.

The Kalamazoo Wings host their annual orange ice night presented by Meijer on Friday, October 30. The Meijer food truck will be handing out FREE cider and donuts from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. in the Wings Event Center parking lot, there will be a costume contest for kids and adults, and trick-or-treating around the arena.

Single-game tickets are now on sale! Tickets can be purchased at kwings.com or at the Wings Event Center box office. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A $2 discount is applied on all tickets purchased before the date of the game.
