Idaho Steelheads News Release

Monday night in St. Louis, former Steelhead forward, B.J. Crombeen scored his first NHL hat trick, including the game-winner with less than four-minutes to go, as the St. Louis Blues beat the Nashville Predators 6-3. He also assisted on a goal, giving him four points on the night.

Crombeen was a member of the 2007 Steelheads Kelly Cup Championship team under current Steelheads Head Coach Derek Laxdal. Crombeen's father, Mike, also played for the Blues from 1978-1983. St. Louis acquired Crombeen earlier this season on waivers from the Steelheads NHL affiliate, the Dallas Stars.

Former Steelheads goalie Dan Ellis was not in net for the Predators.
