Bryan Marshall Loaned to Johnstown

Cincinnati, Oh. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that center Bryan Marshall has been loaned to the team by Lake Erie.

Marshall, 25, began the season with Lake Erie and has played five games in his rookie season. He earned his first pro point, an assist, in a 5-3 loss to Hamilton on November 16, 2008. A native of Livonia, Michigan, Marshall played four seasons of college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. While there he racked up 150 points (49G, 101A) in 147 games, and led the team in scoring as a senior with 13 goals and 30 assists. He also served as the team's captain during his senior season. Marshall will be in uniform tonight when the Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:30 PM at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati.

Mark your calendars! The Chiefs are back on home ice Wednesday, December 10 to take on the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 PM. The Chiefs will be hosting Ladies' Night with booths set up throughout the arena to cater to their female fans.
