Former 2013 Snapper Nunez Named to Futures Game

Former Snapper Renato Nunez was named to the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game roster last week and the game will be played on July 13th in Minneapolis, MN.
Nunez, currently with the Stockton Ports, batted .258 with 85 RBI's and 19 home runs with the Snappers last season. The Venezuela native is batting .285 with 46 RBI's and 17 home runs this year with Stockton.
Nunez is the only member of the Athletics' organization to be named to the 2014 roster, joining Addison Russell (AA Midland) and Michael Ynoa (Hi-A Stockton) who played in the 2013 game.
Nunez joined the Athletics organization in 2010 as a non-drafted free agent and is currently in his fourth season with the club.
