
Falcons Job Fair and Anthem Tryouts This Thursday at Radisson Hotel

FRESNO, Calif. â The Fresno Falcons will hold their annual Job Fair and National Anthem tryouts this Thursday, October 23, at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Fresno.
The Job Fair will be held from 5:30 â 7:30 p.m. and will highlight part-time and volunteer positions for the upcoming season with the Falcons organization. Candidates interested in applying for a position will be interviewed that evening as well. Available openings include:
· Merchandise Sales
· Promotional Team Members
· Kids Zone Associates
· Promotion Table and Customer Service Agents
Tryouts for National Anthem singers will be held from 7:30 â 9:30 p.m. following the Job Fair. Parties interested in auditioning to perform the National Anthem should contact the Falcons Director of Operations Elizabeth Smith at 559.485.7825 to reserve a spot and receive instructions for the tryout. Participants will sing acappella over a sound system.
"We take a lot of pride in our ability to involve community members in our game day operations," said Falcons Senior Vice President Greg Schuh. "It's definitely a lot of fun to be involved in our games at this level."
Those interested in auditioning to sing the National Anthem and/or applying for a game day staff position that are unable to attend the event on Thursday evening also should contact Elizabeth Smith by phone or by email at esmith@fresnofalcons.com.
The Falcons made their ECHL debut Friday night, walking away with a 3-0 shutout win against their longtime WCHL rivals, the Bakersfield Condors. The team continues their 11-game road trip to open the 2003-04 campaign this weekend with a three-game set against Alaska. The Falcons return for their inaugural game at Save Mart Center at Fresno State on Sunday, November 16, at 5 p.m.
