Friday, October 17th INFERNO 3 Florence 1

Barrie Moore scored the game-winning goal with a tip in at 8:08 of the third period as the Inferno beat the Pride 3-1 in front of a crowd of 5,984. Florence came out strong out of the gate with a goal by Kyle Kidney at 3:03 of the first period. The Inferno would not give up as Alex Burrows scored his first goal of the season with 45 seconds left in the second period on the power play. Chris Pittman redirected the puck over the Prides goaltender Dan Lombard's out stretched right leg to add insurance to the Inferno lead at 13:03 of the third period. Goaltender Josh Blackburn stopped 21 of 22 shots for his first win.

Saturday, October 18th INFERNO 4 Florence 3 (OT)

Barrie Moore scored his second goal of the night, only eighteen seconds into the overtime period as the Columbia Inferno record their second straight win against the Florence Pride. Moore scored his first goal at 9:49 of the first period with passes from Chris Pittman and Derek Eastman. At 9:05, Pittman scored on the power play with help from Corey Hessler and Alex Burrows to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. Jesse Schultz scored his first goal of the season at 9:58 of the second period. Paul Cabana and Tim Smith had the assists. Florence would not go quietly as they notched one goal at the 19:15 mark by Shaun Sutter. Florence scored two goals in the third period to push the game into overtime. Rob McVicar was in goal for the Inferno stopping 14 of 17 shots to record his first professional win.

Friday, October 24th vs. Greensboro Generals 7:30pm Carolina Coliseum

The Inferno posts a 1-3-3 overall record against the Generals. This is the first of eight games between the two teams.

Sunday, October 26th at Columbus 4pm Columbus Civic Center

This is the second game this week against the Cottonmouths. The Inferno will play them six times total this season.
