October 20, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Devils News Release
The Trenton Titans (0-3) dropped all three games last weekend. It is the first time the Titans have begun a season without at least one win after the opening weekend. This week the Titans host Long Beach on Friday night (October 24th). It is the first meeting between the two teams.
The Kids Are Alright!!!!!
The 2003-04 Titans roster has plenty of new faces this season. Nine different rookies debuted for the Titans, with four scoring their first goals of the season. On Friday night it was Devin Rask netting the lone tally in the Titans 6-1 loss to Reading. On Saturday night Bryce Cockburn (Coe-burn) scored a goal and assisted on Peter Fregoe's first tally this year. Matt Herneisen also scored his first professional goal on Sunday against Texas. All in all, the rookies scored every goal for the Titans last weekend.
'By George He's Done It':
Goaltender George Bosak was outstanding in relief of Andrew Allen Saturday in Atlantic City. Bosak, making his first appearance professionally since the 1998-99 season, stopped 25 of 27 shots in just under 54 minutes of work.
