
Edwardson and Pardy return from AHL

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that center Derek Edwardson and defenseman Adam Pardy have been added to the roster after stints in the American Hockey League. Both players are expected to play in Phoenix tonight. The team also announced that defenseman Scott Schoneck was placed on the seven-day injured reserve list.
In 41 games this season with the Wranglers, Edwardson posted 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points. The center also added 36 penalty minutes and a +10 rating. The Morton Grove, IL native has played a total of 19 games in the AHL this season tallying four goals and four assists for eight points, to go along with six penalty minutes for the Portland Pirates. Edwardson played the 2004-05 season with the ECHL's Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. Last season, Edwardson also played in five AHL games, three with the Grand Rapids Griffins, and two with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Prior to turning pro, the 5-foot-9 center played four years at Miami University (Ohio). During his time with the Redhawks, Edwardson accumulated 120 points in 135 games played. His best season came as a senior scoring 48 points (17g-31a) in 41 games played.
Pardy has appeared in a total of 15 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during four different stints this season. He is still looking for his first AHL point. He has 12 penalty minutes in that time. In 36 games with the Wranglers, the native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has one goal and ten assists for eleven points and 53 penalty minutes. The six-foot-four defenseman completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). Pardy was the Calgary Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.
The Wranglers continue their season-long, nine-game road trip with games in Phoenix on Tuesday and Thursday, before returning home on March 17th to host the Alaska Aces for a three-game series. On Friday March 17th, the Wranglers will wear specialty jerseys for St. Patrick's Day. The jerseys, sponsored by McMullan's Irish Pub, the official Irish Pub of the Las Vegas Wranglers, will be available for purchase through a silent auction on the concourse during the game.
Bright orange "Dick Cheney" hunting vests with the slogan "DON'T SHOOT, I'M HUMAN" will be given to the first 1,000 fans that attend the Las Vegas Wranglers game on Friday, March 17, the Wranglers announced Tuesday. The vest will also feature a Wranglers' logo.
Playoff tickets are now available for the 2006 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Fans may purchase a strip of tickets that will include every home playoff game for as little as $200.00 per seat. Fans may obtain playoff ticket information from the Wranglers' front office by calling 702-471-7825 (PUCK). Wranglers season ticket holders and mini-plan holders have the first right of refusal for there seats.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
