Tormey returns from AHL

TRENTON, NJ (March 14, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Tuesday that defenseman Peter Tormey has been returned by the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Loaned to the Barons on February 19, Tormey appeared in four games for Cleveland recording six penalty minutes. The 6-5, 223-pound blueliner is in the midst of his rookie season having compiled three goals, two assists and 24 penalty minutes in 43 games for the Titans.

A native of Bourne, Massachusetts, Tormey played four years of collegiate hockey for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell (2001-2005) where he registered 18 points (4g, 14a) and 56 in 120 games with the Nighthawks.

The Trenton Titans take the ice on Wednesday, March 15 at 7:05pm as they clash with the Toledo Storm.
