Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Gregg Naumenko has been released by the Albany River Rats and was signed by the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League to a contract for the rest of this season.

The signing of Naumenko by Peoria means the chances of him returning to Dayton are now very slim.

Naumenko played in 6 games, posting a record of 3-3, a 3.16 GAA and a .901 SV% with the Bombers this season. His six starts with the Bombers were sporadic due to being called up a number of times to four different teams in the American Hockey League (Bridgeport, Albany, Portland, and Chicago).

The Dayton Bombers continue their 15th Anniversary season at home this Saturday night as they take on the Trenton Titans at 7:00 pm at the EJ Nutter Center. The game can be heard on 980 (am) Homer the Sports Animal and on line at www.daytonbombers.com. Dayton Bombers Hockey, celebrating 15 years of fun!
