Rosebush, Neilson in Action Tonight

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced that both LW Paul Rosebush and RW Eric Neilson will take the ice this evening against the Long Beach Ice Dogs.

Rosebush, 30, has scored a goal and an assist this season and has added to his franchise record for games played, which now stands at 414. The former Condors captain has suited up in five games this season for the Condors and became eligible for participation in the Kelly Cup Playoffs as of Saturday, March 11th.

Neilson, 21, returns to the ice following his activation from the 30-Day Injured Reserve. The 6- foot-1, 201 pound forward has scored two assists and recorded 111 penalty minutes in 33 games this season before being placed on the IR. A 5th round draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings in 2004, Neilson last took to the ice on January 31st against Alaska.

The Condors also transferred captain Sean Venedam from the 7-Day IR to the 30-Day IR (eligible to return on April 5th), and placed defenseman Oriel McHugh on the 7-Day IR. Venedam joins Scott Borders (30-Day on Mar. 7) and Nick Economakos (7- Day on Mar. 1, transferred to 30-Day on Mar. 6) on the 30-Day Injured Reserve and eligible to return in time for the playoffs.

The Condors conclude a home-and-home series this evening when the Ice Dogs visit Bakersfield. Tonight, fans who donate a used cell phone or printer/fax cartridge will receive $1 terrace admission. On Friday, March 17th, KUZZ 107.9 and Dave Long Realtor present Lotto Ticket Giveaway. The first 2,000 adults 18 and older receive a Mega Millions lottery ticket. Saturday, March 18th, the first 2,000 children 12 and under will receive a Kevin St. Jacques bobblehead doll courtesy of KGET-TV 17 and Barber Honda.
