Idaho Steelheads News Release

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads announced today they have signed defenseman Alex Dunn to the roster.

Dunn, a 24-year-old from Waterford, Michigan, just completed his senior year at Lake Superior State where he tallied 7 points (3g-4a) in 23 games.

Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Laxdal said, "With Tyrell Moulton on the IR, we were short and needed a sixth d-man. Having Dunn in the lineup will give us another right-shot defenseman, putting us at three for the first time this year."

The 5-10, 195-pound blueliner will make his professional debut tonight at Qwest Arena against the Stockton Thunder.

The puck drops at 7:10 pm for the first of three games against the Thunder this week.
