Bridgeport Islanders News Release

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the return of goaltender Wade Dubielewicz on loan by the big club. The Sound Tigers have also announced the return of goaltender Frederic Cloutier on loan to the ECHL's Pensacola Ice Pilots.

Dubielewicz was recalled by the Islanders Friday and dressed as the back-up for their Saturday night road game against the Philadelphia Flyers. He was recalled after former Sound Tiger Rick DiPietro was injured in the Islanders' road win over the Washington Capitals Thursday. DiPietro was cleared to return to practice with the Islanders, so Dubielewicz rejoined the Sound Tigers Monday morning.

Cloutier met the Sound Tigers on the road this past weekend and dressed as the back-up in their 5-4 win over the Binghamton Senators Saturday night.

The Sound Tigers will open the home portion of their schedule this Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd when they host the Portland Pirates Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.

Information regarding Sound Tigers tickets is available by calling 203-334-GOAL or emailing info@soundtigers.com. All games are web-cast live at www.soundtigers.com.
