Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Assign Pardy To Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that defenseman Adam Pardy has been assigned to the Las Vegas Wranglers, the Knights' ECHL affiliate. The Wranglers begin their season on Friday, October 21st.

Pardy played his first professional game for the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights in a 1-0 win at Iowa on October 8. He completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). The native of Bonavista, Newfoundland was the Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Knights return to action on Tuesday at home against the Houston Aeros. It is one of two against the Aeros at the Civic this week. The two teams will square off again on Thursday. Both games start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for all of the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' regular season home games are on sale now at the Civic box office weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 422-1212 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
