WOLF TRACKS The Wolves dropped to 7-4-1-0 all-time in home openers with
Saturday's loss against Manitoba, which includes defeats in each of their
last three. Chicago ranks seventh in the AHL defensively, allowing an average of
2.50 goals per game. The Wolves have lost three straight games: just one shy of matching last
year's season-high four-game losing streak (Oct. 30 - Nov. 13). Chicago was defeated in back-to-back regular-season contests at the
Allstate Arena just once last year. The Wolves will match up against division rival Iowa Stars for the first
time in franchise history on Saturday, one of four new teams they will face
this season. GOAL FIGURE Chicago has recorded four goals in its last three games after collecting
five in the season opener against Omaha. The Wolves share 22nd in the AHL
with an average of 2.25 goals per game.
