The Situation

The Grizzlies, completed their season-long eight-game road trip with a 3-2 overtime win over Bakersfield Saturday to take two of three games from the Condors on the weekend. Utah improved to 7-3-1-1 on the year, finishing the trip at 5-2-0-1. Utah hosts Alaska Friday and Saturday at Maverik Center at 7:05 p.m.

This Weekend

Friday is the first of two Maverik nights on the season. All tickets for the game will be available for $5 when fans present a receipt from Maverik at the arena box office when purchasing tickets. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets well in advance as the best seats have already been sold. Saturday, military presenting ID at the box office will be able to purchase any seat for $5.

Holding Down First Place

With Utah's strong weekend in California and Ontario sweeping the Aces in Alaska, the Grizzlies will return to home ice Friday in sole possession of first place in the Mountain Division.

First Place On The Line

The Grizzlies lead the Aces by one point for first place heading into this weekend's Mountain Division showdown.

Largest Home Crowds At Home

Despite playing nine of their first 11 games on the road, the top two crowds the Grizzlies have played before this season have been at home. Utah is currently fifth in the 19 team ECHL averaging 5,140 fans.

Leading The League

With four goals and two assists, including a hat trick Wednesday, Brad Snetsinger led the league in scoring this past week.

Goaltender In Groove

Andrew Engelage started all eight games on the just completed road trip and currently has a 5-2-0-1 record, a .927 save percentage and a 2.54 goals-against-average. Engelage made 41 saves in the first and last game of the trip.
