Kalamazoo Wings News Release
It will be an early start in the Queen City, as the Kalamazoo Wings battle the Cincinnati Cyclones in the first of three education day games between the teams this season. After this morning, the K-Wings and Cyclones will play in two education day games at Wings Stadium on March 23rd and March 30th.
Earning a 5-0 shutout victory on Sunday, the K-Wings have pulled into a second place tie with the Wheeling Nailers and have climbed into a single point of the division top spot, currently held by the Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-0-0-0 against the Cyclones, including 1-0-0-0 at the U.S. Arena.
Rattling off five straight victories, the Cyclones overtook the North Division top spot with a 2-1 victory over the Toledo Walleye on Sunday. Today will start an abbreviated two-game home stand for Cincinnati, with both contests coming against Kalamazoo.

Gill Returns
Goaltender Riley Gill has returned to Kalamazoo from being loaned to the Worcester Sharks. Gill, who was on loan from November 12th-15th, backed up in all three games that he dressed past last weekend.
Heading to School
This morning will not be the only time that the K-Wings will tangle with the Cincinnati Cyclones in a morning game. The two teams will also meet on March 23rd and March 30th in education games at Wings Stadium.
Morning Wake Up
The K-Wings, who will play the Cyclones this Tuesday morning, are no strangers to a.m. starts. All-time, the K-Wings are 7-5-1-1 in morning games and 2-0-1-0 on the road.
Division Tested
Entering today, the K-Wings have played eight out of their 12 games within the North Division. On the season, the K-Wings are 6-1-1-0 against teams from the North Division, including a 3-0-0-0 against Cincinnati.
