Trenton Devils Charleston and Kell Recalled to Albany

Trenton, NJ - Forwards Dan Charleston and Trevor Kell have been recalled from Trenton to the Albany Devils. The announcement was made by Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello.

Charleston, 25, has a goal and five assists in three games for Trenton this season, his second year in the Devils organization. With Trenton in 2009-10, the Oak Forest, IL native compiled 33 points (6g, 27a) in 25 games. Charleston began 2010-11 with Albany but did not make an appearance. In four seasons at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, the 5-8, 180-lb. forward totaled 43 goals and 73 assists for 116 points in 159 games.

Kell, 24, leads Trenton in scoring with 11 points (5g, 6a) through the team's first nine games in 2010-11. Playing in the Devils organization since 2007, the Thunder Bay, ON native has appeared in 179 regular season ECHL games and 16 AHL games, accumulating 132 points (57g, 75a) with ECHL-Trenton and 9 points (4g, 5a) with AHL-Lowell. The 6-0, 185-lb. forward chipped in five postseason points (3g, 2a) in a seven-game playoff series for Trenton in 2008-09. Named Trenton's captain at the start of the 2009-10 season, Kell spent four years in the OHL with London and Sarnia, capping his junior career with 73 points (37g, 36a) in 2006-07.

Trenton hosts Reading Wednesday at 7 p.m., visits Reading Friday at 7:05 p.m. and returns home for Elmira Saturday at 7 p.m. TRENTON DEVILS - The Trenton Devils are a member of the ECHL, North America's Premier "AA" Hockey League.
