Cyclones Deal Doug Krantz to Toledo

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have traded defenseman Doug Krantz to the Toledo Walleye in exchange for future considerations.

Krantz, who is playing in his third season of ECHL hockey, played 27 games for the Cyclones dating back to last season. While in a Cincinnati uniform, the Marysville, British Columbia native tallied seven goals and 26 assists in the regular season and an additional six points (two goals, four assists) in 20 Kelly Cup Playoff games.

Tomorrow morning, the defending Kelly Cup Champion Cyclones welcome in the Kalamazoo Wings for the fourth-annual Education in Hockey Day presented by the Ohio Lottery.
