November 15, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
South Carolina Stingrays News Release

The South Carolina Stingrays traveled north to battle the Elmira Jackals and Reading Royals for a week record of 0-3-0-0. The Stingrays visited First Arena in Elmira, NY on Friday and carried a 3-2 lead into the third period with goals from forwards Maxime Lacroix, Pierre-Luc O'Brien and David de Kastrozza. Former Stingray Michael Dubuc tied the contest early in the final frame. Elmira picked up the go-ahead goal late in the period and scored and empty-net marker to grab a 5-3 victory. The Stingrays moved over to Reading, PA for back-to-back contests against the Royals at Sovereign Center. On Saturday, the Stingrays erased two one-goal deficits, but could not grab the lead as the Royals skated to a 5-3 win. Stingrays forward Rob Ricci netted two goals in the loss. The Stingrays faced a similar situation on Sunday, battling back from two one-goal deficits to make it 2-2 midway through the third period. Moments later, Royals forward Ryan Cruthers buried the game winner at 14:12 to push the Stingrays' winless streak to five games. Ricci and O'Brien lit the lamp for the Stingrays.
